Online Transfer Math Course

On-line Math 116 and Math&148
Let me introduce myself. My name is Olga Shatunova. You might like to check my website http://faculty.seattlecolleges.com/oshatuno/ .
There are 11 weeks of classes in the Fall quarter 9/28/2009- 12/10/2009. To get through the material in timely manner we will follow the schedule that I will email you. I will also send you information about testing and a schedule for tests.
To contact you I use the email addresses that you have in your provided when you registered. Please review your registration info and update the email address to the current one. I will need it to contact you on the first day of the Fall quarter 9/28/09.

Required materials:
On-line Math 116 and Math&148 students need to buy the book Mathematical Applications For the Management, Life, and Social Sciences, 9/e, ©2009 Harshbarger, Reynolds in the college bookstore (or other places), TI Graphing Calculator (I will send you instructions for TI 83/83Plus). The text can be found on campus in our bookstore in a bundle (ISBN:1111113971) including textbook, solution manual and set of DVD with lectures. We strongly recommend that you buy the complete bundle for the on-line class. This book is used for both courses Math 116 and next Math 148. If you already have older 8th edition of the bookyou will be able to use it and you will also need  a kit including solution manual and set of DVD with lectures. Tutoring and Contact info
Note that there is free private tutoring available in the MAST and Special Students Services Center (RS18, 12), in the Student Success Service CLICK (RS 66).  There are great videos in the library.
